Spiron and Nhile have been two groups of dogs who have hated each other for generations. The rivalry started many, many generations ago when two foe leaders began a war. The hate started there and little knew it would go on for as long as it has. There have been leaders who have tried to stop the war and leaders who have encouraged the war, either way it kept on going. Most believe that the war between Spiron and Nhile will go on for many, many more lifetimes but their doubts are being iced down slowly but surely.

These groups of dogs live in a modern city called Juon Viols. They call this town Juon. This large city has been their home for a long time, ever since the war started. Despite the bustle of humans among the streets, the dogs get along fine—having good homes to where they are not exposed to human contact, of course—and they hope that such things will not change. Their hope is drenched. Human attacks have been known more recently and it is new to both of these groups that the humans have changed their junkyard to a far place deep along a dirt road, leading into a forest that would take days for a dog to reach. Since you do not see a lot of mice around a street alley and cats are rather hard to catch with their agility, food is becoming scarce and the dogs of Juon are becoming scared. To the dogs, there is only one thing to do in a time like this: move away from Juon. As much as they hate each other, Spiron and Nhile do not wish to leave each other behind. The idea of traveling together has come to mind but snarls have been casted upon it. How will they find another safe home together if they will not trust each other?
